I did a lot of digging before I bought this spoon. I am obsessed with Nessie and have read many reviews. It's small, to be honest (5 1/2 inches tall, or 13 centimeters depending on what you're using), but the packaging clearly says it's a sugar spoon. Many of the reviews I read complained that it was small and not worth the price (their personal opinion). BUT if you know anything about tea drinking, you know that sugar spoons are a lot smaller, as are cups, making Nessie the perfect size. I love it! It's durable, it's the perfect gift, and let's face it, it's by no means a necessity, so you're paying for the luxury of having such a cute sugar spoon and the experience of having coffee and tea every morning. I personally think it's worth it because it makes me happy and I wanted it so I was willing to spend money on it. I get lots of compliments because it's so cute. Well, size and money aside, the quality is perfect. It's made of stainless steel, durable, thick and dishwasher safe. I love the way it looks and feels, especially as I'm picky about cutlery. Would definitely buy again, actually considering buying more to get a small set. In my photos, I have placed Nessie in the center of my regular cutlery set, as well as in my smallest and tallest cups.
