Some Complaints - Hats

Received this halter for my Heeler/Shepherd mix, Large. After some adjustments, it fit him very well and he walks very well in it. But I have a few concerns. First, the part surrounding their snout is very thick and wide, making it impossible for them to breathe normally. This made me very anxious, so I loosened the leash on the muzzle until it was more slack than it should be for him to breathe. And yet he can hardly breathe in it. Other; He is aggressive towards dogs and will wriggle in his halter whenever he sees a dog. He'll squirm (I know it's my fault, not the halter with that squirm) and try to bark at the dog (since his barking will be shut out by the halter) and the clamp on the muzzle will release, allowing him to with more force than to tumble he is scarcely bound. I had to tape the muzzle to secure it (which means I can no longer effortlessly adjust the tightness). Third, as I said, my pup is aggressive towards dogs. If he sees a dog, he'll squirm and whine and wave his halter, and he's smart enough to know he can pull just enough to get the collar off his neck. The same was true of his halter, which was tied around his head. This happened twice when he removed the halter; Once when two little dogs barked at us and ran over, and another when I just walked him down the street. Luckily he's a good boy and didn't run away once his head was free of the collar. All in all, this is a disappointing product. This is not safe when attempting to flee and is a problem if you have a heavily haired dog that is panting. I've never had a problem with the real brand.
