lost the original remote control for my Toshiba 55TL515U smart tv when I was moving house so I got this as a replacement If you just need the basics - on/off, volume, channels etc then it's good and cheap so 2 stars not 1 if you're looking for something more advanced related to smart tvs - connecting to the internet, entering wifi passwords, using widgets. then avoid. it doesn't have many buttons or alternative buttons to my original remote; Things like logging into a Wi-Fi network with a password aren't possible, as there's no way to capitalize or send a password instead of typing more characters. Spend a few bucks more and get a fully functional remote control if you're looking for a Smart TV. Features too, no return policy so stick with it if it doesn't work for you
