Review on ๐Ÿ”ญ Leupold BX-1 McKenzie Binoculars by Todd Amarsingh

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Please read before purchasing.

The fact that this product has 5 stars makes me cry. I'm not sure if the reviewers have never tried a decent scope before or if they are in love with the Leupold name, but this product is complete rubbish. I compared it to the Bushnell Legend Ms 10x42 and they blew it out of the water for a few bucks more. I brought these binoculars to my eyes and the game was called Holy Molybdenum chromatic aberration, I saw so many different colors in the picture it felt like I was looking at a rainbow, everything you aimed at had horrible fringing, it gave absolutely no clarity through these binoculars. I'll honestly say these beinos are worse than a pair of $25 Bushnells I bought 5 years ago. I don't know what Leupold was thinking in the name of something sacred when he named them that size, but it's extremely disappointing. Please buy something else, but don't buy this and don't waste your time. By the way, they were made in China and the whole body was made of plastic. The only thing I liked was the case.

Pros
  • Open bridge, roof prism design - very light and ergonomic
Cons
  • Some small things
