Review on Enhance Your Vision with Ultrasonic UUC06G Professional Electronics Eyeglasses by Alan Massey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

14 years later my wedding rings look like new again!

I use ultrasonic cleaners at work to clean very small machine parts and also to degas solutions that I mix (I'm a biochemist, eye researcher) and have found them to be very effective at work, so i thought why not try cleaning one at home to clean my jewelry etc! I have been married for 14 years and have never had my wedding rings professionally cleaned. They were downright rude. It's a shame I let her get so bad, but here it is. My engagement ring is a solitaire cathedral setting with 5 smaller diamonds on each side. It's beautiful and I love it, but it's very easy to get dirty because Solitaire is so open on all sides and because it has so many nooks and crannies for dirt to get stuck and hide. Anyway, here's what I love about this vacuum: SIZE. It is a very compact device and is very easy to store under the sink or in a cupboard as it takes up very little space while still having enough capacity to handle all types of cleaning. jobs! SIMPLE - it cannot be overestimated. Just because I'm a scientist doesn't mean I enjoy reading manuals and spending hours tweaking and figuring things out. However, I have less patience for this than the average person. I had it up and running within 3 minutes of taking it out of the box for the first time! The inner baskets supplied are also very practical. The instructions are clear (in English) and very easy to follow! I really love things that are both effective and foolproof! VERSATILE - I love that this can be used for so many other purposes besides jewelry e.g. B. for cleaning coins, dentures, electric razor heads, glass or ceramic objects. SAFE - If you are concerned that this item will damage fragile jewelry (other than pearl, jade or emerald), please use caution. It is absolutely safe and gentle. I've used ultrasonic cleaners to clean things that are MUCH more delicate and delicate than jewelry at work. FAST/QUIET - You can literally use this cleaner every day if you want. The time is measured in seconds! And in operation it is very quiet. QUALITY - This vacuum cleaner is very well made with high quality materials. Nothing about it seems cheap to me and I think it will last a long time! IT WORKS - That's the most important part, right? I ended up getting 3 rings for the longest cycle on the first try and they improved A LOT after that! My stiffer, meaner rings seemed to need another cycle so I gave them another cycle and they are even better! I could still see some dirt but it all looked like it was all on the white gold or stainless steel (flower ring) surface and I took out a needle and was able to easily scrape off the dirt leaving them shiny and clean and looking good as is New! One of my photos shows the tank after cleaning my rings and you can see all the dirt on the bottom that came out! Wonderful. I think my results would be even better with the addition of "detergent" as instructed. However, the instructions do not specify which "detergent" to use. This word means different things in different places and under different conditions. For example, "detergent” has a completely different meaning for me in biochemistry than in my role as a housewife. What should I put in my rings? Washing powder? Dishwashing liquid? hand soap? Specialized jewelry cleaner? how much should i add I had no idea and I was too scared to add anything that might spoil it. A quick google search for it showed me that I could use some dish soap, but it would be really nice if the instructions on how to run the rinse cycle were more specific. My only other complaint is that you can't set the frequency with this device, only the time. 42,000 Hz is more than enough to get the job done safely, but I always like being able to adjust the frequencies. But you shouldn't deduct a star for these small quirks. I'm still a big fan! I highly recommend it for all kinds of uses. Hope that helps.
