I was recently diagnosed with blepharitis and my doctor recommended these pads. But boy, they sure are expensive! And since they go around the eye, they're not exactly lint-free, or at least there are small loose fibers that could get into my eye if I'm not very careful. But as said (or written) they seem to help with issues I've had - crusting under my eyes on my lash line etc. I try to alternate washing my eyelid area with a SMALL amount of Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo. and filtered water with a lint-free washcloth or cotton pad. It was also recommended by the doctor as an alternative.
