Makes my cast iron pans easier to use
These handle covers have made my favorite cast iron pans easier to use. I particularly appreciate how useful they are when moving cast iron in and out of the oven, although they have worked for all my purposes. I leave them on after removing the pan from the 500 degree Fahrenheit oven to remind myself the pan is still hot. My only complaint is that the grip cover doesn't fit snugly. (I understand that when making generics, all grip sizes must be accounted for.) I have to hold the grip very tightly.
