A must for me. Most of my work consists of travel, so I needed a laptop that would fit into a business environment (to people who aren't computer savvy, it looks like a black version of a MacBook Pro without the Razer logo, which comes from the matte black brand logo can be covered). skin and an RGB keyboard that I just set to white) and also let me play my games when I'm not at home. Gaming: I get an average of 180 fps on RS: Seige at 1440p Ultra settings and no Taa (it's a blurry mess and only renders at half resolution so I turn it off) and the CPU temp never goes above 80C, but 3080 never exceeds 71 °C. The 14-inch screen has a very high pixel density at 1440p, so no anti-aliasing is required when gaming, which improves performance! Battery life: I am very satisfied with the battery life. With the best battery life with screen dimming up to 210 nits, I get 14 hours of battery life on office tasks. At full brightness, the white point is 350 nits, which is good enough to see in bright sunlight (thanks in part to the display's anti-glare matte finish, glossy displays need to have a brightness of 500 nits to perform just as well. CPU: Ryzen 9 5900hx is very powerful but drains power and stays cool for everyday to moderate tasks So much so that I've only heard the fans start spinning when I'm playing a video game, which makes a huge difference! (so much so that I couldn't believe it was even that thin), even anodized black and nice sharp lines masks fingerprints better), the 2021 Razer 15 blade has received an additional anti-fingerprint coating to combat this, but unfortunately it has Blade 14 not given the same treatment. My only concern is the RGB keyboard. For some reason your RGB settings are not stored in the BIOS, instead the Razer Synapse software loads your RGB settings after you log into Windows. So I have to hide the rainbow keyboard during business meetings etc until my white keyboard backlight loads. RAZER, if you care about being the Windows version of Apple (i.e. high-end metal laptops for pros who love to game), you need to fix three things: 1. Create a sleeping Blade 14 with a subtle Razer Stealth 13.2 logo. Either fix the RGB to save in the bios so the keyboard doesn't boot up with unicorn vomit every time I open the computer, or just make a Blade 14 keyboard that's all white LEDs.3. Anti-fingerprint coating! Seriously, we're a walking advertisement for your products, and most people who walk by and catch a glimpse of a laptop are turned away by the guaranteed smudges and fingerprints on it. It's impossible to touch this thing without leaving them lying around all over the place.
