Easy to install. Fits like original. The reason I replaced the original was because it made a whining noise. The design of the fan puts it in direct contact with road dirt, moisture and dirt and in my case after 13 years the bearings and/or seals in the original fan's electric motor had worn out (probably causing the whistling noise). Replacing the Dorman fan fixed the issue. Installation only took about 15 minutes. You have to jack up the car or put it on a ramp and it's easy to access from there.
