Review on 📷 VILTROX 24mm f/1.8 F1.8 Full Frame Z Mount Lens - Auto Focus Prime Lens for Nikon Z Series - Z6 II, Z7, Z7 II, Z50, Z5 by Nailah Mejia

I bought this lens because I was tired of waiting for the Nikon 28/2.8 SE to come out here in the US. Although the lens is not as small as the 28/2.8, it is slightly smaller than the Z35/50 Primes. Sharpness is good but falls a bit short of what Nikon OEM Primes have. Don't get me wrong, this is normal as it doesn't mean the lens is out of focus. It just isn't as sharp as lenses that cost twice as much or more. The autofocus works flawlessly, and it's nice to have the choice of using the dial to control the aperture or the actual aperture ring. I would have preferred a click on the aperture ring, but I see the appeal in having it click less in video-oriented shots. Overall I am very satisfied with the Nikon Zfc. Still have to use it on the Z6 and see how it works with the FX size sensor. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the performance so far.
