VILTROX 24mm F1.8 Z lens is an autofocus wide-angle prime lens designated for Nikon full frame mirrorless camera. It supports lens IS stabilization, EXIF information transmission and USB upgrade. The lens adopts a "STM+Lead screw" stepper motor and the mechanical structure is simple. It can achieve quiet and smooth autofocus when shooting stationary objects or movies. Lightweight Focusing Assembly, Slight Breathing Effect The simple mechanical structure makes it easier to miniaturize the drive unit; as the sound during autofocus is suppressed, it is suitable for movie shooting. Secure fit, great lens!

So after having a baby I finally made my decision and bought a portrait lens. They always say spend your money on glass and not a real camera. It was right in my price range and had everything I was looking for. I bought other aftermarket lenses for my Nikon. The Z mount on some aftermarkets I've found has been lost and isn't of the highest quality even on high end lenses. Thus, a person is also a good addition to the general lens to protect. Both the head cover and the bracket also do not lock

So far so good: lenses for mirrorless cameras

I bought this lens because I was tired of waiting for the Nikon 28/2.8 SE to come out here in the US. Although the lens is not as small as the 28/2.8, it is slightly smaller than the Z35/50 Primes. Sharpness is good but falls a bit short of what Nikon OEM Primes have. Don't get me wrong, this is normal as it doesn't mean the lens is out of focus. It just isn't as sharp as lenses that cost twice as much or more. The autofocus works flawlessly, and it's nice to have the choice of using the dial…

Excellent quality with good auto focus mechanism

Here is my experience with this lens: Firstly I am still amazed at how beautiful these Viltrox lenses are. They feature an all-metal construction very similar to the classic Zeiss lens. The processing quality is impressive thanks to the tightly built all-metal housing. I also feel this because the lens is quite heavy at 1.4lbs. The overall length remains constant over the entire focus range. The large knurled focus ring works smoothly. Unfortunately, there is no weather protection, but you…
