I bought this keychain for my 2011 GMC Terrain for $7.99, put in a brand new Duracel 2032 battery, $10 laser cutter was cut at a GMC dealer to fit my other keychain that worked then follow the GMC dealer's instructions for programming the key fob. I couldn't program this key fob. Then I opened the battery compartment to check the battery, maybe swap it out for another one to make sure it wasn't the battery, when I opened the case the blade, spring, pin and another piece of metal flew out . I have no idea how to put this together. The OEM key fob had a separate battery compartment and never had this problem. In any case, it's a piece of junk from China, which isn't surprising. Don't waste your time and money with this junk.
