Bad Smell - Household Items

They smell so bad I can't even keep them at home. Can't wait for garbage day to get rid of the disgusting smell on the back deck! Update: three months later I found them near my back door where I put them because of the disgusting smell and I still can't stand the smell in my trash can after airing it outside for three months.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Security

A thicker plastic bag (ie a hefty one) is the way to go if you want durability. These bags are better than flimsy plastic kitchen bags, but they still tear under heavy loads. If I have something in the bin and the bag isn't in the bin, my cat will grab the bag with its claws and it will rip/rip easily with almost no effort. The smell of the bag also attracts my cat who is bored. Some cats have an odd habit of licking plastic bags, so I wouldn't recommend anything with an odor inside for that…

Sometimes the little things matter.

I never write reviews of garbage bags but I'll make an exception here. These bags are the best I have ever used. You have everything I like. First, they are gray on the outside and black on the inside - cool! They stretch, smell good, and can handle anything I put in them. I've never given much thought to the tall white bags I've used before but some of them shine through, what's inside - like when you pour out the coffee beans - is disgusting! I used to throw beans in the trash, but where I…

Pros
  • Garbage, compost and lawn bags
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

I've been using these for a while now. These are certainly not cheap garbage bags, but I think they are worth every penny. More or less, these bags effectively do what they were designed to do. The design goal is that they are able to: - retain a very strong bag that can flex a lot, reduce tears/punctures and carry a lot of weight without breaking - use a simple construction with a drawstring for access, and - Reduce dirty odor by using odor neutralization methods. They do a great job with all…
