On my first order the speaker failed and stopped playing after about 3 weeks. I ordered a replacement because I really liked the sound of the rain and wind around me at night. It did a very good job of blocking barking dogs and such in my area. However, the replacement made a terrible static noise every time the side speaker was connected to the main speaker. Then my side speaker (just like the first one) failed after just a week. None of them were thrown or shaken. I was very careful with them because they are obviously cheaply made. For example, plastic logos glued to the sides fall off the box. But come on! The "Air ready to pair" prompt is VERY loud. The "Low Battery" announcement can wake the dead. Why do speakers even have volume buttons? And the music? Fur. They sound like cheap headphones with little bass, but rather weak throughout. At least they could build them to last more than a month. After all, I couldn't justify spending $200 on speakers that have to be reconnected each time you want to turn them on, and then disconnected again when you manage to pair them with your device. Even if I could get a working replacement, I would have to re-attach/detach the dance every time I stop the music for more than 5 minutes as they disconnect automatically. and then doesn't sync when you press play again, which is ridiculous.
