When I first bought this cheese grater I thought it was great, it was sharp and worked well but it didn't last long. all before the black plastic surrounding the metal began to crack. If you drop it the plastic will break and even if you don't drop it will start to fall apart, the metal will fall out of the plastic frame too, I can't believe how expensive this is as it's all plastic. in it, and it's seriously NOT worth the money. Now I have to spend more money on another grater and I am not satisfied with it. I will never buy a cheese grater that has even a little bit of plastic in it!
