I ordered this device when it was on sale to get a network connection to my office PC in the basement to replace the network adapter to connect to the internet due to noise in it's reliability my electrics system old house has suffered. This is the second one I'm using and it's been working flawlessly since I bought it. The detachable antenna comes in handy if I ever change my configuration and want to use a larger or desktop antenna. It's currently plugged into a powered USB 2.0 hub (not the best, mind you) that sits under the monitor stand. This is more than sufficient for my needs. I haven't tried any tests like creating a live stream (like Twitch) but there are no buffering issues with streaming like Netflix, YouTube, Pornhub etc. My original is used for my girlfriend's PC (built-in ethernet stopped working) and her used it for gaming (world of warcraft) and had no problem playing dungeons and dragons on the discord server she plays with.
