The outer shell doesn't fit the fork like I'd like, but it works, which is more than I can say about my old fork. It's been on my boat for about 1 month and I take it off about once a week to go sailing and apart from the slightly loose plastic cover it's fine. It's rained quite a bit since I put it on and had no problems with water getting in, and it cost me about 1/3 the price of 'good stuff'. Salt water and salty air are harsh. If it doesn't work out next year I might come back and update this, but for now it's been a good affordable choice.
