I am setting up a workstation with 1 monitor/keyboard/mouse and connecting it to a laptop and a desktop. I treat the display separately (on the monitor) but for all other peripherals it's been great. I was able to connect a USB hub as one of the devices, so I really have no limits as to what I can route to two computers. I installed it under my desk, which makes it easier to access and gives me some easy-to-reach USB ports to share. Maybe a split second lag when switching, but overall everything works great. It is very compact and can be attached with glue and velcro.
