I am using a DROP CTRL keyboard and Thermaltake Nemesis mouse on this KVM. I usually switch between two devices: desktop and laptop. Most of the time they work fine. However, I notice that my keyboard sometimes sends double inputs (e.g. double "s"). My mouse sometimes doesn't register when I switch devices so I have to disconnect and reconnect the mouse to get it working again. I like the small form factor. I just taped it to the underside of the table with 3m tape.

I am setting up a workstation with 1 monitor/keyboard/mouse and connecting it to a laptop and a desktop. I treat the display separately (on the monitor) but for all other peripherals it's been great. I was able to connect a USB hub as one of the devices, so I really have no limits as to what I can route to two computers. I bought this because at work I use 2 different computers (each with their own monitors) that are not connected to the same network (no software KVM option) and I am very tired of running 2 Use keyboards and 2 mice. It worked great, not a single problem the whole week I've owned it. Switching between computer 1 and 2 takes about a second, but that's about it. I am very happy with it. I want the LEDs on the top to be visible at an angle so I can lay the box flat, but that's my only minor issue.

I love this switch, by the way it's a 4 port switch with 2 computer ports. I can use my external HD and wireless keyboard and mouse on two different computers without disconnecting or moving latches or cables. When I got my switch from Amazon it didn't work, through some testing I found it was one of the USB cables, I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one 2 days later with delivery. It definitely looks and feels good. It basically works, but tries to be too clever: if it can't see a computer connected to one of the inputs, it switches to the other. Sounds good, except: Usually in the morning to wake my computer from sleep I just press a few keys on the keyboard, but if you have the switch set to Laptop 1 and want to wake Laptop 2 (which is sleeping), you can use the Do not press button on switch to switch to laptop 2, as laptop 2 is not recognized as it is sleeping.
