Can I just say these are the best reusable bags I've ever had? They are strong, hold their shape and fold fairly flat when stored. I bought two packs (six bags). I can easily fit 5 in my Walmart shopping cart and the 6th fits in the top cart along with my purse. They are similar in size to traditional paper bags but slightly larger. They're completely self-standing, items stack well inside, and the reinforced bottom keeps them from sagging, even when loaded with groceries. The handles are firmly attached and quite long. They would definitely fit on your shoulder. The handles are not soft but comfortable to carry around the house. I like to flatten five of these and keep them in a sixth pocket. I'll love them for years and I'm pretty picky. I would recommend using a plastic bag to protect the canvas from leaking.
