We park outside and my center doesn't fold the mirrors in and in fact someone managed to break the mirror. If you just want to replace the glass, then that's fine. Sits well, gap dimensions are not visible. Works the same as the original mirror. However, I strongly recommend not using the glue included in the kit. When I tried to use it the glue wasn't very sticky and there are people who used this glue and the mirror fell off. We highly recommend using something like Gorilla Glue or something else to secure it. I've had the mirror for several months and it works. ADVANTAGES: Easy to install. Cheaper to replace the glass than the entire assembly. Quickly; Took me no more than five minutes CONS: The glue seems a little crummy. A little easy to scratch but hey it's not OEM. i can forgive it
