Most of the brushes I've tried don't clean very well between the grates because the bristles are too short and thick. This brush gets in between the grates or fins of the grill fairly well. Also, some brushes tend to get clogged with grill residue, rendering the brush ineffective until you clean it. This brush counteracts this trend quite well, as the bristles are not too close together so that dirt can fall off. Also very sturdy with a long handle giving you a variety of hand grip options. I paid $5 for the brush which is good value for money. Many brushes are overpriced.
