Works great on my heavy, thick, coarse, slightly wavy hair. I towel dried my shoulder length hair as usual (wrapped in an absorbent towel for a while) and it sped up the drying and styling process. This is a very large brush so it's good that it comes in two storage options. The size helps dry and style my hair quickly and I love the result. It's also great for tousling my hair on the days I don't wash it, although I generally prefer to use a heated, non-drying brush for this. I like the feel of the bristles on the scalp. Would have liked a loop for hanging.
