New to Resin I only had few wishes for this product: 1. Easy handling2. The transparency of the finished product and 3. No yellowing, I was not disappointed. This resin was incredibly easy to use! The instructions were very simple and clear. I made several different parts as you can see. The curing and curing process took about 12 hours for the small circle base, 18 hours for the rose base, and the square base is still curing after 24 hours. I can handle it with no problem but it still flexes a little. From what my resin friends have told me, this is normal; Some resins take several days to fully cure. The bubbles could be removed with a hot air burner, which I didn't know at the time. Now let's talk about resin transparency. The globe is completely transparent except for the bubbles (which may have been due to my inexperience with casting in spherical form). If you look at the round and square corners of the coasters, you'll see that they're not perfectly transparent. However, this may be because I didn't use a resin heat gun. But as a newbie? I'm very happy with how they turned out. I cast the coasters in two layers. The first layer was half of the mold wall, The leaves were carefully placed on the surface. I waited about 45 minutes before pouring the second coat over the first. Yellowing also did not occur. As an added bonus, if you use a silicone pouring cup, cleanup is smooth. The resin jumped out of the cup so easily, as did the molds. I didn't apply any release spray to the molds beforehand.
