They have survived several falls that would have destroyed the cheaper flashlights I have. They are long lasting and very bright. And the batteries last a lot longer than I thought considering how much light they put out. Although there is a trick here. Instead of draining the batteries at 500 lumens, they automatically switch to 250 lumens after that time. Since I'm using rechargeable batteries, I want them to drain as much as possible while saving as much light as possible. But I don't know if this is a feature to keep the light on longer or a consequence of the batteries not having enough power to give it the power it needs. The magnets could be stronger and located on the pan handle to give it more functionality but otherwise they are excellent lights.
