I use them a lot at work. Accurate and much smoother than the SPI junk my boss usually buys for other workcells. I usually use them to measure the dimensions of an engine jack on a CNC lathe, which doesn't hold tolerances very well. So my slim right-hand mic can test them much quicker than most in the store. Just keep them clean when not in use.
