I didn't deduct a star for the packaging because I stupidly ignored the supplied size chart. A lot of reviews said to order your "normal" size, so I did. I usually wear large ones so I ordered a large one and it turned out to be insanely small. I didn't send it back because I've already put my sweaty berries in it, but it's uncomfortable to wear on a trip, so I probably won't wear it again. Although I've worn it a few times. Seal quality is good. After a long ride my butt hurts less than other cheap cycling shorts I have and certainly less than not wearing padded shorts at all. I wouldn't call the materials and stitching luxurious, but they're adequate. I've seen better, I've seen worse. If I need another pair of cycling shorts I will probably buy them again but in a larger size.
