I took this just a few days after trying a different brand flexible soft toilet brush for the first time. I found this model to be almost indistinguishable in performance from another slightly more expensive model (Tiilan brand). The main differences were that the base unit of this one requires a little assembly and looks a little less premium than the other (if that matters to you), while this one includes a detailed brush that can be used for other cleaning tasks in the bathroom. The old standard hard bristle round head in the US scratched my china and my research showed they may be too hard for today's plumbing. My water is softened, but I still have to clean the toilet frequently because of hard water rings and debris. They're more flexible and a bit more difficult to use, but seem to work just as well as a traditional brush. It gets under the rim better, although it does seem to squirt a bit if you're not careful. I like that it takes up less space than a round bristle brush and is generally easier to clean.
