I bought this trial kit to play around with pouring concrete, after 3D printing, sanding and finishing a master mold of a small planter I built a mold, glued the part and poured the right amount (about 2 /3 of this trial set) and then fill out the form. The mold has turned out fantastic and I've already poured about 10 concrete pots out of it and they all look great, the product works. as expected and I am very happy with the result. My only complaint is the price, after searching the internet for cheaper alternatives I found that $30 for Β£2 is pretty much the norm. I think it has something to do with the platinum used in the platinum cured silicone. What I don't understand is that I can pop into Walmart and buy ten pounds of silicone cookware for $20 and I know it's not exactly the same material but god to make a mold for something substantial, one Lawn ornament, a large flower box or whatever, I'm looking for $100-$200 for a mold! If anyone can point me to a competitor with better prices I would be grateful!
