My countertops seem to fall into the corner because every time water splashes out of the sink it always runs into the corner and gets wet. This made the room suitable for many things. I really wanted to put a microwave in it because it would free up usable cooking space and make the microwave accessible. We were concerned that water might cause problems with the microwave so I found a solution. I ordered these and a wooden cutting board that was big enough (I looked everywhere for shelves that could hold a 45-55 lb microwave, but they were all expensive and too big). So I just put them on the underside of the cutting board to lift it out of the water and give us peace of mind about the microwave. Worked well and no complaints. It stays in place but is also easy to move around and adjust if needed. Sticks well and I have a ton more.
