80 2-1/2 inch hard maple rolls were made with this tool, which is modeled after my router table. They all came out perfect. Never burned or torn. 157 foot milling (since I rode around at least 3 times on each roll) The jig was made from Trex decking (ie plastic) and the bearing never got hot enough to damage the Trex so it dissipated heat well.
