Review on KIMO 20V Cordless Impact Wrench Set, Brushless High Torque Impact Wrench With 3/8" Chuck, 250 Ft-Lb 3000 RPM, Li-Ion Battery Fast Charger 7 Sockets, Power Impact Wrench For Home Car by Brandon Christianson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a VERY solid piece of equipment.

One of the straps holding up my gas tank broke during a move. Luckily, the second one held the weight until I could secure it with some rope I had in the truck. Unfortunately, but expected, the bolts were rusted into place, and after several attempts to free them, I decided to add an impact wrench to my tool kit. One of the things I noticed immediately was that the quality impact wrenches came as "Tool Only", meaning that you had to buy the battery and charger SEPARATELY! That's right. Folks would sell you the tool, but not anything to power it with! Then I saw the Kimo, and as pictured, it came as a complete package, with battery, charger, a host of sockets, including the 15mm I needed. It arrived the next day! And I gave it 3 stars on "Lightweight ONLY to point out that an impact wrench isn't SUPPOSED to be "Lightweight". Good gearing and solid construction make it the reason I'm patting myself on the back for purchasing it. The battery takes about an hour to fully charge, and maintained a "Full" charge after I completed the strap replacement, which took me all of 15 minutes! I tried for about 30 minutes using hand tools trying to break those suckers free, and this tool did it in a matter of seconds. I'd highly recommend this product, hands down. And did I mention that the total cost was $101? Think about that when you're changing a tire, or bustin' knuckles with those hand tools! 5 stars!
