Really nice, my medium shorthair cat, a bit plumper shorthair, liked it immediately and she went in and out first and had fun in it. After all, she lived in the garage all winter as it was around 50 degrees outside and she often lay inside or upstairs waiting for us to open the door. Our large cat, about 16lbs, was completely disinterested and really too small for him, smaller than the synthetic cat bed he grew up on. I looked for another brand and bought a large Meowfia and it was big enough for him and significantly larger than this one. He still showed no interest, but eventually used it that spring after his fur was shaved off for the mats he designed. I keep it on a metal mesh chair and it's in use right now. Both brands appear to be comparable in thickness and quality, except the size of this one is medium rather than large. I like them for cold or chilly environments as the thick wool felt is breathable and blocks wind well and doesn't tend to build up moisture or condensation this seems ideal.
