This hub does everything it's supposed to do with exceptional build quality and a beautiful design. The cable and all connectors are very durable, it seems that they are made to last. If you don't need HDMI functionality there are definitely cheaper options, but this one is nice because it lets you connect to an HDMI display and use up to 4 USB 3.0 devices at the same time. My only complaint is that there's no USB-C port for pass-through charging. If you have a computer with only one USB-C port (e.g. a 12" MacBook), you cannot use this hub and charge your device at the same time. This can be quite annoying, let's say you're connected to a display that has all your peripherals set up and you get a low battery alert. You have to disconnect from all these devices just to charge your laptop, which seems pretty silly. As such, I'd recommend buying a different hub if your laptop only has one USB-C port, but if there are multiple, this is a good option.
