Review on Enhance Your Ride with Panaracer Pasela Wire Bead Tire by Jay Arnold

I have used the Panaracer Pasela on many bikes in the past and have had great results. They ride smooth and fast and have that classic rubber wall look that I love about my vintage bikes. The last pair I used were very worn after a few thousand miles on a 1976 Raleigh in the harsh Middle East conditions. After a year the sidewalls showed cracks and the tread was flattened significantly, but it was still drivable. However, as much as I love these tires, on the last set I bought one of the sidewalls couldn't resist and started blowing and even broke off at one point. I recently completed my latest build and have only had a few rides with this set and was surprised when I went into the garage to find that the front tire sidewall was bulged and had actually come loose from the wire in a small spot. As they were brand new I applied to Revain and as with every issue I have ever had they immediately gave me the choice of a refund or replacement. I've had good experiences with these tires in the past so I've decided to get a replacement and will try again. For this reason I have to give it 3 stars instead of 5. If it weren't for this I wouldn't have any issues with the delivery 5 stars. On the other hand, if this happens again I will be annoyed and lower the rating accordingly.
