Even better than the original AeroPress for travel and hiking

Very happy with the AeroPress Go! After using my old AeroPress on many trips, I decided it was time to try the AeroPress Go. Both AeroPress versions use the same size paper filters, the same diameter cylinder, the same size coffee spoons, and the same vapor requirements. Shovel and replaced the AeroPress Go filter housing with a 2 ounce paper filter can. Scoop. Both AeroPresses come with 14g coffee scoops, but I prefer a milder coffee, so I use a standard 2 tablespoon (12g) coffee spoon. I first used the Good Cook extendable coffee spoon (https://www.amazon.com/Good-Cook-Extendable-Coffee-Tablespoon/dp/B002RBEJT8). I later replaced the Good Cook scoop with a more durable coffee scoop, which I modified based on a long-handled stainless steel coffee scoop (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N4M44NJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) . I cut the handle 4 1/8" from the tip of the bucket and attached the pieces with a 3/16" x 1/8" rivet. I'm very happy with the result (see comparison photo). ).Filter housing. I dropped the AeroPress Go filter housing and put it through a "round metal 2oz screw top can" (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RTH35X7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) replaces up to 120 paper filters, is ultra light and waterproof (photo of the "footprint" on the right) holds up well with boiling water (because of the ribbed sides) The slick bottom would be a problem if mounted on fine furniture - I found that the AeroPress Go rubber cover works great for the inverted stand I hope this review helps others.
