I bought this to replace the broken one. I decided I wanted something with a big bucket and top loading, this thing is great, it has a sensor so it shouldn't run 24/7 but it will level up and shut off. It really helped more than the old one. The noise level is so low that it doesn't bother me at all when I sleep, unlike others, and you can turn off the front display and leave it on. The only downside is that when I turn the TV on or off the humidifier wakes up, it should have overlapping IR codes, but all I have to do is a simple button press on the remote. It's worth paying extra for a standing model and thinking about a second one for the main living room.
