Review on 🚒 TERMATH Stainless Marine Hardware Staple: Superior Quality and Durability for Marine Applications by Richard Puckett

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Screws are cheap but work (most of the time)

I mounted half my pads on a pine beam and half on cherry wood. The assembly on pine went without any problems; I drilled a few pilot holes first and the screws went in very easily, although I ended up tearing the heads off a few bits. Going up a cherry was a whole different matter; I drilled pilot holes like in pine, but the first few screws I tried to install broke like twigs. I just bought bigger screws. That being said I have full confidence that they will last up to the 600lbs they are rated for. If you are on a budget these pads are great. However, note that if you want to mount it on a wooden surface, you will need stronger screws.

Pros
  • Universal hook
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
