They smell very good, do NOT burn and you could probably retain some smell that way. they always burn. I'd say over half don't lose the flame on its own and you have to blow it out. Lots of cones for the price and they are quality. I bought a few cheaper brands from the dollar store and ended up throwing them away. They smell very nice whether you light them or not. You don't really notice the smell until you leave the room/house, come back and leave. Oh yes, I lit some cinnamon sticks. To be honest, I prefer cinnamon candles, but they are of very good quality. bumps, and if you want cinnamon, you can't go wrong.
