It wasn't difficult.: Electrician

realizing that they don't fit standard "building" outlets in my 20 year old house in Arizona. The tabs do not match. You must either sell this with customizable tab placement or sell multiple versions and clearly label/photograph which version goes with which outlet style. They only have a photo of the back of the device and it's taken from a weird angle (not only should they provide a straight photo, they should also include measurements). I've tried guessing using the frozen videos on Revain and their website and clearly didn't get the correct result - waste of time learning and sending back such a simple device. Also, they are VERY expensive compared to the competition. My plan now is to replace a few old sockets and a few competing devices for the same price as their packaging, or maybe just get lighted sockets. If you are new to electrical engineering I would suggest watching some YouTube videos. For a regular outlet, swapping the wires into a new outlet is fairly easy, and the only tool needed is a $12-$20 stripper/twist tool, which you can use for many household projects. One last thing, before turning the power back on to see if they were touching, I noticed that they were sticking out of my wall on one edge a lot more than the original panels. Overall, I found the build quality difficult in some of the other reviews, and I added a star for the thick block, reasonably firm-feeling lugs, and decent packaging (protective but easy to open and return), but it's hard to fault them to recommend this aspect if they do not fit snugly against the wall.
