This thing measures angles, which is good because that's what it's supposed to do. I bought this because I was using a protractor to measure angles on a car frame rail so I could calculate the cuts of the cake. It turns out I'm terrible at both measuring angles and math. Luckily, this angle measurement trick not only measures, but also performs math operations and calculates the reversal angle at the push of a button. A large handle locks the thing in place so it doesn't move. I also like the little plastic ejector thing that ejects the battery for long term storage. In any case, I love this little device and can only recommend it.
