Not happy with surprises

I have installed half a dozen large flat screens with different mounts in the past and this one proved to be the most difficult, mainly due to the lack of instructions and the surprise at the very end. Every other large TV mount I've ever bought had a spring-loaded mount at the bottom so when you attached the TV hooks to the top bar, you could tilt the bottom of the TV down and snap into place. This is a manual and there were no written instructions that there would be that extra step at the end. Instead, you should try to tip the very heavy TV forward as far as possible (2 people minimum), being careful not to let the TV slide off the top bar, and then try to massage the bottom bracket and insert the screw (better check what size is required before hanging the tv outside on a windy day) to hold the tv on the bottom and on the bracket. Why not provide instructions on this part? I'm certainly not taking it off to return it, but I'm not happy with the setup. I really hope I don't have to shoot this TV again! Buy a bracket with a spring lock for the floor, you will be happy.

Pros
  • STABILITY AND SAFETY: Robotic welding technology makes the whole TV mount strong and safe. Easy tilt adjustment with spring-loaded handle without tools.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
