This is a good laser for the price. I don't like the location of the gimbal lock switch on the front of the unit where the lasers are emitted. It would make more sense to have a switch on the back so you can point the laser away from you. Also, you must turn this switch to the lock position before you can turn off the lasers. I understand this ensures that you lock the auto-leveling lasers in place for storage and transport, but it's difficult to turn them off without looking at the lasers. You can't see the laser if you wear glasses, so you'll have to point it at the wall and look over the glasses to make sure it's really off.
