Review on Posi Tap® Connectors 12 18 Gauge Wire by Tutan Dennard

I have used periodic position changes and a position tap on my car and have had no problems with it 5 years and over 140,000 miles later so I knew it would be useful for installing headlights. It can fit 3 (maybe even 4) 20 gauge wires (I think) through the splice end very well and maintain a good connection. The only thing I've come across is if you plan on using 18 gauge to make sure the faucet goes through we decided to use a different wire on the parking light harness as not all the headlight wires are tangled in later bulb changes, and I think the wire tapped was 18 gauge maybe 20, one touch missed the wire and pushed it through the side and it took a bit of troubleshooting but we figured it out. So if you plan on tapping into 18 gauge try to hold the end of the lead so the wire is better centered except the other 3 connections are cut flawlessly and I'm glad there is a product out there that's so reliable (that doesn't cut through all the insulation). cord like a faucet in a briefcase) reusable, reliable and a true example of good engineering I would recommend to anyone who needs a faucet because even if you have to remove it the hole should close and even if you don't the hole is small enough to allow for a small epoxy dab solid wire insulation
