Better Than T-Tap Connectors

If in doubt between these or T-Tap Connectors, choose THIS! You will not regret it. T-connectors are unreliable and do not guarantee a reliable connection. Posi-Taps provide perfect wire penetration for a strong connection and a secure twist for a secure fit. They seem a little pricey for the quantity, but they are WORTH EVERY DOLLAR.

Great product but excellent seller.

I've been using these connectors in my car and at home for ten years. In any case, they work and the connection does not break. This seller is the best. I referred to an old illustration of this item in his ad. He also thanked me for taking the time to create the very correct illustration he now uses. I even returned my purchase to show their good intentions.

No crimping or soldering. Easy to use! Anyone can use them.

I love these things! I was able to use these to connect my RCA crossover from my subwoofer amp to the stock 6x9 subwoofers in the trunk of a 2012 Chevy Cruze. The best part is I didn't have to cut the stock wires to 6x9 so everything stays factory when I take them out. They are so easy to use and offer a better connection than those with crimp splicers. The different Posi-Locks are ideal for splicing wires. The wires remain intact and do not pull out as with crimping. Great design!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Much better and less damaging than the standard T-crimp taps IMHO!

These are great and easy to use wire taps that will damage the main wire you are cutting much less than a standard crimped T-tap. Easy hand tightening during installation with no stripping etc. Small pinhole in main conductor insulation compared to a large slit in traditional crimped tees. It made my job of adding/installing automotive wiring harnesses a breeze. I highly recommend them and the Posi-Tap line of products. I am in no way affiliated with the manufacturer/supplier and receive no…

These are the best tapers I've ever used. They are very easy to install and I know that if I have to remove them the original cable will not be left in a damaged condition. I used them to connect stock Bose subwoofer cables in my 2016 Cadillac ATS-V. I didn't have a lot of cables to work with the standard subwoofer and the way they were constructed made it easy to hook up the cables to add a powered subwoofer. I connected the cables in less than 5 minutes. Now that I've used them, I'd pay…

Easy to connect and disconnect

These connectors work as advertised. I was a bit skeptical but after installing it I would recommend it to anyone. I used to work as an aircraft electrician and usually soldered spliced wires. I've been doing this for years and it doesn't really bother me. I decided to try them on a radio setup. I was so glad I made this decision because bad weather interrupted my work and I had to stop halfway through. Being able to easily unscrew these spots to loosen them after installation was a bonus I…

Extremely effective monitoring

I have used periodic position changes and a position tap on my car and have had no problems with it 5 years and over 140,000 miles later so I knew it would be useful for installing headlights. It can fit 3 (maybe even 4) 20 gauge wires (I think) through the splice end very well and maintain a good connection. The only thing I've come across is if you plan on using 18 gauge to make sure the faucet goes through we decided to use a different wire on the parking light harness as not all the…
