Review on Posi Tap® Connectors 12 18 Gauge Wire by Redfish Rosenhoover

These connectors work as advertised. I was a bit skeptical but after installing it I would recommend it to anyone. I used to work as an aircraft electrician and usually soldered spliced wires. I've been doing this for years and it doesn't really bother me. I decided to try them on a radio setup. I was so glad I made this decision because bad weather interrupted my work and I had to stop halfway through. Being able to easily unscrew these spots to loosen them after installation was a bonus I wasn't expecting. I had to move the car in the middle of the installation during a storm. If I soldered the wires instead of these connectors, I would have to cut the wire and not just unscrew it. Highly recommended.
