Bought so an old computer monitor could be used with my Raspberry PI

This allows the Raspberry PI micro HDMI output to be converted to a legacy DB15 pin cable on computer monitors. Works great and has a 3.5mm audio out cable for connecting audio to computer speakers. HDMI cables carry video and audio together, just like your new TV. Older computer monitors don't have HDMI, and audio isn't usually built into your monitor. A cost-effective solution so you can use your old monitor with your new Raspberry PI!
