Heavy plumbing water hammer
Causes water hammer on my high efficiency front loading (LG) washing machine. However, quality craftsmanship. Out of curiosity, I lowered the water pressure throughout the house to 48psi (from 60psi), but it didn't make much of a difference. I replaced these hoses with straight hoses with no bends (ASIN: B00UH2SZLC) and this significantly reduced water hammer. I plan to also add some water hammer absorbers (ASIN: B000H5MQNM) for reliability reasons since they are only $10 and there is room for them. space behind the washing machine. If you have a high-efficiency front-load washing machine, do your best to use straight hoses. Your pipes will thank you
