It is very difficult to find a replacement drain plug. Available items never include the information you need to know if a drain plug will fit your sink. So I'm giving you the information you need to make an informed decision about whether this option is right for you. - My sink is old, probably 20 years old. - I don't have a garbage disposal. - The "hole" in the sink I plug in is just over 3 3/8 inches. This black cork measures 3 3/8 inches. So this plug keeps the water in the sink what I need. I've spent over $20 to find one that does this. The one I found lasted 2 days and literally fell apart. Too bad because it had a sieve. This one doesn't have a colander, but I just pull it out a bit and collect a lot of "things" instead of throwing them in the sink. This is cheap and works and at the end of the day my dishes can be washed.
