I have heavier drawer mats but they are very difficult to wash. They do not fit in a normal washing machine, they must be hand washed and take several days to dry. I am so glad I bought this rug. Immediately after purchase, my pet had an adverse reaction to painkillers. Multiple seizures N/A/A. In the four days that he had these problems, I washed and dried the carpet 2-3 times a day. It looked like new every time. Other rugs I've washed have fallen apart or torn on long wash cycles. Will be buying more for my other dog crates!
